I’ve decided to assemble and release this "KR Creator's Tool Kit" (KRC's Tool Kit, get it?) after years of watching terrible and inaccurate designs flood the internet and design market, from one fan produced project or product to the next. Everything from t-shirts, scale models, signage, Youtube video content, Etsy store products, eBay auctions, or on officially licensed merchandise. Every example I have showed you in my detailed three part act.
I believe this beloved series deserves a better class of design and I'm going to give it to you absolutely free. You no longer need to use the same horrible free "KR Fan font" or dreaded "seahorse" shield design in your creations! Now there's no more excuses not to leave these lazy and inaccurate knock offs in the dust that have plagued the market for years.
I am giving YOU the same tools I've used in my artwork to take your KR design game to the next level.
Inside the "KR Creator's Tool Kit" zip archive, you will find organized folders with reference images, fonts, and other materials including my famous FLAG “Semi” shield artwork in both vector format and JPGs as well as PSDs with editable text layers.
I'm not going to give away the whole store, but I am going to give you a solid visual "Turbo Boost" in the right direction.

(Note: MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL ALL FONTS before opening any of the PSDs in your editing program. These assets are designed for PC. If you are a Mac user, you will need to find compatible TTF fonts with your system.)

Not only have I provided the proper fonts you need, I’ve also included my signature Flag Semi (Knight) "Shield" which was based off the shield emblem featured on the trailer of "The Semi" in the classic 80's television series.
Why would I give these assets away for free?
Because I want to see your "Knight Industries" products and particularly, your FLAG Knight "Semi" scale models shine brighter. I want to see your "Knight Rider" based fan creations reach the next level of accuracy and design. I want to give you the assets you've been searching for in one place, carefully assembled in one package.
If you already own a copy of The Knight Rider Companion "Abridged Edition" - the "KR Creator's Tool Kit" is designed to work with the "Knight Rider Main Fonts Guide" section (page 317) to illustrate how to use each font provided in this kit from the titles to the fonts found on KITT's famous dash, as well as promotional materials such as the "KITT kit." I have not provided every font listed in the guide because some of them are custom made but I'm sure you can track them down on your own with the information provided.
I want to see “officially licensed” merchandise look on brand again with the original television series. Now you companies have NO excuse not to bring back the original brand identity to your future "Knight Rider" products.
“Ruben” is included. Toy company designers, the ball is now in your court. Use these assets and I guarantee you, interest in your products will significantly increase. Believe it or not, for these target customers, the little details do matter.
This is my gift to you, the fans of this classic television series, and everyone else who shares a passion for Michael Knight, KITT and everything that made this 80's television series a pop culture phenomenon, from one artist and fan to another.
These assets are 100% royalty free, consider them in the public domain. Give me credit or don't, the choice is yours.

I have worked very hard to assemble this kit to give you all the tools you need to drastically expand on and improve your design options which are more in line with the visual language of the television series. Almost every file is editable for your personal customization. (make sure you install the fonts first!)
You may need to do some additional adjustments to get the letters exactly as you want them. This kit is designed to get you started, but feel free to alter these files as needed. I can only show you the way, you have to take the first step.
